My dryer makes a squeak right when it starts and stops. It was squeaking a little while running then I moved the drum around a few times and hasn't done it sense. It also seems to stop more abruptly then before with a quick squeak when it halts. Im going to order a new belt, idler assembly and some of these roller assemblys. Its 6 years old and gets used alot. Any idea what the squeak upon stop/start?
The squeak is most likely going to be caused by the rollers on the shaft. Replacing the rollers will normally stop this issue.
