Is this the seal that fits into the main body of the dishwasher and keeps water from leaving the machine when the door is shut? Are there instructions with the seal on how to install it?

ANSWER Hello Larry! If you are speaking of the gasket/seal that goes between the door and the tub it should be part number 3920DD3005A. Instructions are not included with this part.
