Is there a good way to install this little SOB? It has to fit perfectly around a number of corners and radii, and it seems to be a bit long. I've used petroleum jelly in the past to get it to slide in and stay. Is this an okay fix or have I jeopardized the seal itself? I'm about to put in the third motor in my wife's machine. - Thanks!
ANSWER Dave, It's OK, to use "vaseline" as a "fixxer", just don't use "gobs" of it and try to "dab" the toughest areas, not the whole gasket. Have you determined the issue with the motor? We'll send you some information that may be helpful, Thanks
