The Dry and Cooling lights are on as soon as you start any of the myriad of cycle options. Cooling stays on.... I cleaned the two sensors and same issue. Everything else appears to work. I am going (based on reading similar issues) to order and try the two sensors if cleaning with alcohol does not work. If it does not work, and I need to go to Laundamat- may need more alcohol! Argggh.

Jay D for Model Number LG DLE7177RM

ANSWER Jay, Cleaning or replacing the sensor bar(s) and checking the wires from the bar(s) to the control board, is a good place to start. The more likely issue is a communication error in the main control board 6871EL1013A or a connection between the two boards 6871EL1007A is most likely at fault.
