I just replaced the stator motor and hall sensor on my washer after finding that one of the pins on the sensor would not ohm out with the other three pins. No change in the washer. It tries to spin but the motor only grabs and locks for a sec before giving up . No cracks in magnets and harnesses ohm out back to the main board. Now what? Is it possible that the board is bad? Maybe I am reading the wrong pins or something. There was mild rust on the motor from an earlier leak and two spots inside on the drum magnets. Any thoughts?
ANSWER Hello Johnny. If the stator and sensor are new, and there are no cracks in the magnets, and the harness is good, you will need to replace the control board. Hope this helps.
