My range = LG - LRE30451SW shoed a code F1 over night. Do I change the the touch-pad to fix this problem??

The F1 error code indicates an open oven sensor. You would want to check resistance on the oven sensor 6322B62214A and should have 1090 ohms. If this checks ok then check your wiring from sensor to the control board for damage. If this checks ok then you would want to replace the PCB 6871W1N002A.
