I have a range - LG=LRE30451SW and in the morning (without using the range) the F1 code was on.I turned it off and 10 minn it was back on.So I pulled the circutbraker. If I replase the tuch-pad will it solve the problem ? Thank you.

ANSWER Hello Bert, Replacing the touch pad will not correct your issue. The F1 error code indicates a oven sensor open. What you can do is open the back panel of unit and check the resistance value of the oven sensor at room temp. Resistance should be 1090 ohms plus or minus 50. If this checks ok then you will want to check the continuity of the sensor wire from the control to the sensor. If no continuity on wiring then it would need to be replace. If the sensor does not ohm out properly replace sensor 6322B62214A. If both these check out ok then you would need to replace the Clock assembly EBR74632601. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html
