I believe the solenoid part 614a which opens the ice flpper needs to be changed. I am extremely handy and fix most things my self. Is this a part that can be replaced fairly easily, if so can you let me know which parts I nned to remove to replace the solenoid?

ANSWER Hello John,
To replace the solenoid on unit you will need to remove the dispenser panel. Remove the dispenser tray and lock the dispenser. Pull at the base of the dispenser and pop the panel out. Once out you should be able to access the solenoid.
