My tub would not spin, it tried but couldn't move completely. I took the washer apart and the bearings on the back of the tub moved freely but the shaft on the spider was very wobbly, could this be the problem and do I have to replace the bearings as well as even though they move freely? Thanks!
ANSWER Hi Greg. Yes it is recommended that both the spider part # 4434ER0002D and the rear outer tub part # AJQ35154201 w/ bearings be replaced at the same time. Since the spider is wobbly You need to make sure the inner basket spider mount bolts are not elongated (wollered-out). It will throw the whole spin off balance. The inner basket is part # 3045ER1006E it also includes the spider assy. Replace the main bolt part # 4040FR4051C to see if it is sloppy on the spider shaft. Thank You.
