My dishwasher started reporting error OE (drainage problem) and some research revealed that replacing the sump assembly is somewhat of a catchall solution. I replaced the sump assembly and ran the dishwasher to test the fix. It still does exactly what it did before replacing the parts. The first cycle runs but the error presents when moving on to the next. The drainage hose is clear (I can blow through it to force water into the garbage disposal) so I'm not sure what to check next. Any ideas?
You will want to check for power getting to the drain pump. If power is not getting to the drain pump then you will want to check the control board for sending power. If the control is sending power then you would need to check the wiring and if not then replace control board.
