My gas dryer heats on manual but when I try to use sensor the gas stops after 2 min?

ANSWER Hi. Ohm out the thermistor on top of the blower housing part # 6323EL2001B. It should read 10,000 ohms +/_ 5% tolerance only. Replace it if necessary. Make sure the blower housing is clear of debris in the blower wheel itself and the entire vent system including the vent cap/hood opening and closing on its own (lint free). Thank You.
