How do I remove the old thermostat and put in the new one? I can remove the wire connectors but it isn't obvious if it unscrews, is held in by some sort of bendable tabs, or some other mounting device. I don't want to make my problem worse by forcing it in a way it was not designed. Also, how long before these things are in stock with your company? I can bypass the thermostat (it's a thermal fuse) by bridging the contacts with wire but probably not a good idea.
ANSWER Hi Debbie. The thermostat is usually availabloe within 5-7 work days. It is part # 6930W1A003X. It Is usually bolted in place with 1/4" screws. You will access the inside of the back panel to get to the thermal fuse. Thank you.
