My washer makes loud thumping noises and becomes off balance if I try to wash a normal load - especially jeans. It has gotten to the point that I can only wash a few items at a time. I figure the bearings are worn out because it seems like the inside drum is loose. Does this sound right? Can just the bearings be replaced or does the whole outer tub assembly?
