When I plug up the refrigerator it trips the GFI. What could it be?
ANSWER Hi. Use a appliance cord part and try another house outlet that is not on the same GFI circuit breaker. If it works now the get an electrician to change the outlet. GFI outlets trip at less then 1/10,000 amp draw for water safety or a direct short. Your unit needs full amperage to start the unit and keep it running normally. Thank you.
