I have this lg refrigerator model number LRFD25850SW and my tank is leaking. I talked to appliance pro rep and they told me that lg have eleminated the water tank and it only need a water tube kit p/n 4838ja2002a. Once I removed the tank the tube does not fit it is too small for the valve side is there any other parts that needs for me to connect it straight to valve and the inlet side of the line. Because the tube just moves freely in the vale seem like something else is needed to secure to valve and the inlet side ? Thank You
ANSWER Hi Mohammad. There are 2- different part #s that LG use on your unit. 1 is part # 4932JA3002C. Along with it you will also need the clip that goes into the connector for a proper seal (2/ea.). Part # 4004JA3002A. These parts are specifically for the upper water line at the back that fill the water filter. The 2nd is part # 4930JA3091A. This part is noted for the water line going to the water line/tank that you mentioned. Thank You.
