We have replaced the belt. Now it dose not agitate nor spin ? Please Help
ANSWER Hi Margie. Remove the belt and see if the drum now freely turns. If it does not, look at the pulley and see where it may be binding. Is the pulley wearing into the back of the tub as the outer tub bearing may be worn out. Is the inner drum rubbing on the door boot ? If so then has it been making a growling noise ? Do you see any water leaking out the back of the tub? Momentarily start the machine in a small wash just to see if the door locks and the motor receives the start tumbling command. Did you align the belt in the center of the large pulley after installation and rotate it a few times to insure it rides on the motor pulley ribs without misaligning the belt ? Let us know how this turns out and we will assist you further. Thank You.
