My washer is upper load type (working perfectly fine) and it has a mildew odor. Repair forum suggested me to use Affresh washer cleaner. Should I use Affresh or Magic Cleaner? Also I want to know, is it normal that some water remaining outer tank after the wash complete? Because I noticed some water remain near the drain hose when I removed the drain hose.

ANSWER Wipulasena, it is normal for a small amount of water to be in the drain hose itself when the cycle completes. A large amount is not normal and would reflect an issue with the product. For a top loading washer you will need to use Washer Majic, part number TJ131. Thanks!
