Hi, My Maytag # LAT8426AAE is leaking from the tub seal during filling, washing. No funny noises or other issues. Which spanner wrench do I need? and do I need the tub seal kit or must I buy the bearing kit as well? Which parts must I get? Thanks. And if they don't come with it, what kind of lubricant to use? Thanks

ANSWER Dane, You'll want to replace both parts, tub seal kit 6-2095720 and the tub bearing kit 6-2040130 and consider new belts 12112425. The spanner wrench part number yu'll need is TJ90TB123A and a few drops(3 or 4) of "turbine oil" on the tub bearing and race. Will get you back up and running for quite a few more years. Just remember, do not overtighten the mounting stem, Hand tighten, then a couple of light taps on the spanner wrench handle with a hammer,is all it takes.
