Hi, my kenmore 80 series top load washing machine leaks from underneath center above the clutch housing.I have changed the centerpost gasket and the leak persists. Should I suspect leak is coming from transmission stem seal and if so would I need a special tool? I already have a spanner wrench.

The things that would cause the leaking would be a damaged tub or not sealing the centerpost seal with sealant.
