I have a washing machine, Maytag Bravo MTW6500TQ0 and the Item 11, Tub and Drive Shaft P/N AP8572660 (sometimes referred to as W10193886) needs to be replaced. The shaft and bearing should come installed with the outer tub. Took the impeller wash plate and the hubs off the other night but the inner basket will not come out. There appears to be a nut holding it in place that would require a spanner wrench, something like AP4503397. There was a video on You Tube of someone using such a wrench to remove the same nut on the same looking inner basket (but I don't believe the machine was a Maytag Bravo). How do you remove the inner basket from the outer basket and drive shaft?
The hub 280145 is what holds the inner tube in place. There are 6 screws that hold it down that would need to be removed. Once removed you may need to rock the tube from side to side to get it to release.
