I have had part number DC97-10417A replaced by a repairman several times. I order a replacement part a week plus a couple of days ago. At that time I took the part out and forgot to note the wiring and hose locations. I need to install new part but want to make sure I am correct in connecting the part. Can you assist?
ANSWER Hi. Examine the flow meter part # DC97-10417A position before replacing it. It's wiring has top terminals. The mounting holes are side by side on one side so it can only mount one way with the middle square notch for a locator. On one end is the 2 fluted ports. From the top view the one on the rt. is the Input hose from the Blue connector water valve port. To the left of the waster guide inlet port is the out- let port that connects to the Main (C) water dispenser container rear ports at the extreme rt. side. Then you have the Water guide port in the front. The one on the rt. is the one that leads to the tub inlet port. The one on the left is open to vent atmospheric pressure. Thank You
