I have a microwave that went dead while running. Could it be the high voltage diode or capacitor?

ANSWER Hello Bob,
The fan and lights would still work if it were a part in the high voltage circuit as you mentioned. This is more likely a cavity thermostat DE47-20196C. I assume this without tests because you said it quit during use.
