I have a problem with the refrigerator side not cooling properly. Freezer side is fine. Also, no water out of dipenser. After emptying and removing the evaporator cover, there is quite a bit of ice build up around the evaporator assembly. What could be the problem? Defrost Thermostat Sensor? What parts do I need to check / replace?
You will want to check the defrost thermostat sensor and the heater for the defrost. If either of these have failed it will cause the unit to not defrost and ice will cake around the fan and the evaporator.
