i took the drain pump apart and shook the motor portion and it has liquid in it. is this pump liquid cooled?

ANSWER Jack, No, the drain pump motor is not liquid cooled, it's air cooled. You may be hearing the motor armature/shaft move when you shake it, but if there is water in the motor, that would be due to a broken seal, and the assembly will need to be replaced.
