I was told that I needed to replace the temp sensor in my fridge. Samsung model # rs2530bbp, part # da32-00006w. I'd like either a detailed instruction or better an illustration
ANSWER Hi. You will need to remove the shelves and the back wall screws to access the sensor part # DA32-00006W. Make sure the back wall does not have frost on it. If so then you will need to defrost it with a hair dryer carefully not to melt the cabinet, but to get the wall off. Use towels to catch the water. It is located beside the lower evaporator coils on the rt. There is another sensor there as well you need to change. It is a defrost sensor part # DA47-00095E that controls the defrost heater temperatures in the defrost cycle. Thank You.
