Is this the part I need to replace if the cold water does not shut off. What other part control the opening and closing of the cold water. The washer allowed the water to just keep running and the water started to run onto the floor.
ANSWER Hello Ben. If you had to turn off the water at the shut off to stop it from running in, then the water valve will fix your problem. If you turned the machine off to stop the water, then you will need to check the pressure hose and make sure it is not off or broke. If it is good, you will need to replace the pressure switch 34001324. Hope this helps.
