I have a whirlpool cabrio. Recently it has stopping working. When you first start it up and it is trying to sense the load the lid locks and starts blinking. It will not do anything else. Some told me it was the synchronous motor. Please help.
Yes, the actuator W10006355 is the most likely issue with your washer, based on past information and experiences. The actuator designates the direction and speed of the motor in agitate or spin. It also contains sensors which communicate to the main control board, and false information from the actuator can cause intermittent and improper lid latch operation. The W10006355 is the correct component for the model number you supplied.
