Have electric Maytag dryer. Buzzer quit. Has quit before, and sometimes would work if you disconnect and reconnect it. Contacts tight and clean to it.
Sometimes it would stay on longer than normal, or not stop at all till you opened door.
Does it need replaced?
ANSWER Hello John. If there is power coming to the buzzer and it does not function, you will need to order and replace the buzzer 694419 on the unit.
