I have a Kitchen Aid, unlike the previous person in the previous post. I can't figure out how to remove the old adjuster to install the new one. There are no exposed screws on the housing into which the adjuster slides.
ANSWER Hello Pam, These are tricky if you've never messed with them before. The plastic piece on each end is a catch. Most of these will actually hinge open. Don't use a sharp item to open them as you will get cut, but you have to take something small like a small screwdriver and flip the end around. They then slip off easily. Looking closely may not help at first, but the end flips toward the open side of the track it is installed in. I sure hope you can figure out what I'm talking about. Re-post if you still can't figure it out.
