How do you snap cap onto ice auger without breaking cap?

ANSWER Hello Kim. The cap-helix is part # D7749401. It is the very 1st. part installes into the ice bin. The auger(agitator as mentioned). It is not a wound type The back end loosy fits into the cap. Thank you.
