I have a Maytag lat9356aae that won't agitate -but spins and drains fine, and no funny noises. I can't find access to the agit dogs. Does this model not have them? Does it require replacement of the entire agitator?
ANSWER Hello Mark. If the agitator is stripped out, replace the agitator. Otherwise it sounds like the transmission is bad and will need to be replaced on the unit.
