The agitator is stripped and you cannot hold it. Is ther any way to get the agitator out?

ANSWER Hello Pete. You will need to hold the bottom of the agitator 3947517 and not the top part. If you hold the top part, that is what is stripped out. If the bottom is stripped out, you will need to remove the motor and access the transmission shaft and hold it to remove the agitator. Hope this helps.
