hello again, we tried what you said and the problem with the washer is this.... its fills with water(no problem) it starts to agitate for about 10 seconds and then shuts down.. no humming noise, no smell. It will spin it spin out too.. please

ANSWER Lee, a couple of things you want to check, First the lid and lid switch assembly, make sure the lid is not loose and "wobbly" or bent. Check and make sure the plunger makes proper contact with the lid switch assembly, and theres no loose wiring. When you say "shuts down, no humming noise, no smell" would lead me to think you have a bad timer contact 22004298 if everything else checks OK. Thanks and Good Luck
