Unit is making a metal on plastic sound in the wash agitation cycle. The agitator does not seem to rotate. It sounds like the teeth of the plastic are worn out. Does this need an agitator full kit replacement?

ANSWER Hello Jcolby5801. Check and see if the agitator will turn by hand in both directions. If so, you will need to replace the cam kit 285809. Hope this helps.
