What is the torque requirement for the agitator bolt? I just tightened it and the outside ring of the rubber washer split apart.

ANSWER Hello Heidi. The manufacture does not have a torque rating, but advises to snug the bolt 358237. It sounds like you may have over tightened it. Hope this helps.
