When my washer comes to the rinse and spin cycle, it stops working. It woun't drain or spin.

ANSWER Hello Karen. You will need to check the lid switch 3949247 and see if it is broke or bad. If so, it can cause the problem your having. It should read closed for continuity with the lid closed. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter.
