Trying to find Whirlpool model Number Under the Lid. The tag is there. All the information through time has been erased. Is there another way to find out the model number?
So I can order parts & trouble shoot
Currently the Washer on Spin cycle is wobbling all over the place
all else seems fine ,
Whirlpool washer direct drive
Says commercial Quality , supper cap. 9 cycle
I found 2 pins underneath the washer trying to find a diagram where they go ,,, the two pins have a hole in the ends ,, (Missing cotter pin posible )
I found a location underneath the drum two plastic cups is that where they go ? Which direction ??/

ANSWER Hello Robert,
Unless you get lucky and find a UPC tag on the back of the unit, the only way to get the model number is off of this I.D. tag. Sometimes, the selling dealership will keep a record, but this isn't always the most dependable way to order parts since one character different will change the required parts for the model.
