Would this product be suitable for bonding a ceramic-encased thermocouple sandwiched between an aluminum heat sink on one side and an aluminum finned heat dissapator on the other side? The function is to allow heat transfer from the heat sink mounted in the cooling chamber to be fan exhausted to the outside. This is the cooling mechanism of a small 12 bottle wine cooler which uses electronics (no compressor) to cool wine to as low as 52 degrees F., made by Chambrer, a Canadian co.
ANSWER Ted, The Alumilastic, was designed for this specific purpose, to promote a positive, and constant transfer of temperature, and reduce the possibility of an air gap between the components. You should be fine if you use it, it can be messy when you apply it, but nothing you can't handle. Thanks
