Getting the LR code on the washer. It will start washing and stop and give you LR code. Start the washer back up and it will finish the cycle.Sometimes it does it all day and sometimes it does not. If the repair is to expensive would it be better to buy a new washer?
ANSWER Hello Barry,
The LR error code indicates a locked rotor. This means that the control board is trying to turn the motor but the motor will not turn. This can be caused by too heavy of load. You would also want to check for loose or corroded wires to the motor control and main control. Also check for possible bad bearing that could cause drag on motor.
