My UMC5200 turns on, but doesnt heat. I understand that it might be the magnetron (Part# AP4263192). are special tools required for removing the old magnetron and install the new? and is there any calibration required? Based on the answer will determine if I buy the new part or buy a new microwave.
ANSWER Hello Bill,
There is no calibration necessary when changing the magnetron. Most screws on this unit will be phillips head. YOu my need a security torx bit, to remove screws in the rear but not aware of any other special tool required.
