My washer seems to be working just fine untill it comes to draining, then it spins and makes a load noise but the water just sits there! I took a shop vac to the hose where the water normally drains and it sucked up all the water from inside the washer just fine . Could the pump be the problem? Or could it be something else?

ANSWER Hi Connie. These pumps tend to have issues with the impellor spinning loose on the pump shaft. This pump is part # 34001098. Thank you.
