How can I remove the tub seal from the shaft that goes to the transmission?
Is there an easy way to do this?

ANSWER Mr. Simmons, There are a few special tools you'll need to do the repair "properly". and a triple lip seal hub kit W10116790 to do the repair. You could get by with a hammer, chisel, and channel lock pliersand other basic tools but, you'd need these tools to do the repair properly : 35-2968 TJ22002898 and maybe TJ90TB123A. It's not that difficult a repair, but then it's not that "easy" , you'll be dismantling the washer from the top down the the tub support/Transmission assembly. Good Luck and Thanks.
