The washing machine occasionally tries to spin, makes a loud noise. Definatley not the lid switch. Belt? Do I get in from the back?

ANSWER Hello Patrick. You will lean the washer backwards to check the motor coupling and if good, you may need to replace the clutch kit in the unit.
