tub wont spin in spin mode all the time if i push down on the agitator it will spin for a short period of time. i checked the hold down bolt and it is tight. can you help me?

ANSWER Paul, 90% of spin issues on this style washer is due to a worn or damaged thrust bearing assembly 12002213. Age, usage and wear and tear cause the tolerances to increase, and will not allow the brake to release properly, and the clutch spring to engage the drive shaft properly. You also want to consider a new drive belt [21352320] If it's the original belt. Good Luck and Thanks
