My Washing is working fine. It agitates correctly and goes through all the cycles. My concern is that it is making a ratchiting noise during the agitation cycle and a constant clicking noise when it is in the spin cycle. I would like to fix it before it breaks completely. Any ideas as to what this noise is?
ANSWER Hi James. Lift the top. Remove the top tub cover. Remove the agitator. Look at the top of the transmission shaft Spanner nut part # 21366 (Tool for removing the spanner nut - TJ90TB123A) and see if the drive block part # 389140 is not broken. Look at this carefully and see if there is any broken inner ears or rounded ones. The inner part is called a brake tube assy. part # 285792. This part will drop down when the nut is loose and create this issue. Thank You.
