My washing machine makes a VERY loud rumbling noise during the spin cycle, along with a squeaky noise. There's also a considerable pile of rust dust and grey metal shavings under the machine. I'm worried that the bearing has gone, but I'm not sure which bearing I'll need. I'm also not sure if I'll need gaskets and seals as well.
ANSWER Hi Anna. The tub support part # 280184 comes with the center post bearing and seal kit installed. Open the lid. Reach in and move the agitator shaft front to back and side to side. If you hear the squeaking then, you will need a skate plate part # 3946509. There are 3 white suspension pads on the plate that has worn off and need replaced. Thank you.
