I wanted to know if a special tool is needed to change the bearings and seals for part # 285203. I saw on another site that a special tool was needed but not available.

ANSWER Mark, a centerpost bearing removal tool is needed. Unfortunately, it has been discontinued and is no longer available. Sorry about that.
