I have and intermittent squeal during the agitation cycle only. I have replaced both the agitator and bearing but no success in stopping the squeal. Do you think it is the transmission or something else?
ANSWER Bruce, It's most likely something else, like the thrust bearing assembly 12002213 if the cam or bearing is worn or distorted, and out of tolerance, the brake rotor will remain partially engaged and make a squeak noise in the agitate cycle. Also check the belt 22003483 for a worn or burnt spot, and the motor pulley for the same as well.
