ANSWER Gary, You'll need to remove the front of the bin dispenser to access the crusher housing and chopper blades and shaft. We're sending you some information that should help you out. The nut is actually a "reverse thread" nut, designed to tighten to a certain point when the shaft turns, you turn it clockwise to loosen and remove. Thanks and Good Luck
