My dryer was squealing and chirpping while running. I've replaced the two drum wheels and support glides and the noise still exists. Could it have just been the idler pulley or belt? It seems to be operating properly other than the loud noises.
ANSWER Hello Todd,
This sounds like the idler pulley 6-3700340 since the other parts you have changed pretty much cover the other causes of the complaint. The belt 33002535 is what makes the noise, but it's because it's slipping over the part that is opposing rotation. As long as the belt looks good all of the way around, it shouldn't need replacement unless you just want a new one in while it's apart.
